The Department of Surgery has undergone several significant changes over the years. It has become a dynamic unit of the institution. It exists not only for the purpose of serving the Philippines Veterans, but offers also its expertise to the marginal population in its surrounding communities. KNIA / KRLS are small market radio stations committed to covering local news and information in Pella, Knoxville, Indianola and all of Marion and Warren County.
