Star Surveyor Mac Os X

It is kind of problem on both sides, EE and Apple.
First - BigSur has a lot of changes for external developers (like EE). I found in particular at least 4 issues with my Qt-based projects. As ESDR is written in Qt, they will encount potentially even more. I believe it is going to be constant question for some time from now, and simple recommendation would be - to use ESDR stay away from BugSur, Being in EE shoes, I would simply formally announce for now that BigSur is not supported (up until all issues will be fixed). Additionally, it should be clearly defined what will happen with future Mac Atom-based devices (I guess ESDR simply will not run on them, unless EE would like to maintain another SW mainline).
Second - EE guys are never been really focused on Mac platform. Predominantly because they are themselves are not Mac users. Hence, MacOS testing is performed very reactive, and there is always expected delay to fix ESDR for MacOS. I personally do not like it (being Mac user and using Mac for DXped), but I kind of understand EE's issues.
